Dato práctico: generalmente, la temperatura en el laboratorio de medición es de 20 °C. Las fluctuaciones de la temperatura pueden hacer que los materiales se dilaten o contraigan. Cuanto mayor es la precisión que se le exige a la máquina de medición, mayor importancia cobra el impacto de estas temperaturas.
